What is CPP and What is CPA? |
As defined in the ebXML Business Process Specification Schema
[ebBPSS], a Business Partner is an entity that engages in Business
Transactions with another Business Partner(s). To exchange messages
between two Parties, the Message-exchange capabilities of a
Party may be described. In the ebXML, a Collaboration Protocol
Profile (CPP) describes it.
A Collaboration Protocol Agreement (CPA) is an agreement between
two Parties who exchange messages using the ebXML Messaging
Service [ebMS]. A CPP describes the Message-exchange capabilities
of CPP writers. And comparing CPPs, parties can know that the
other parties can exchange messages with them. Therefore if
one party can exchange messages with the other one, two parties
make a CPA as an agreement. A CPA describes party information,
protocols used for exchanging messages, message-exchange methods
and security information.

GetMate CPP & CPA Editor. |
A CPP contains information very much. And its structure is
also very complex.
So it is not easy to edit CPP documents without editing tools.
To edit CPP documents easy, KTNET eRearch team made a CPP
editor, GetMate CPP Editor. It is developed based on the ebXML
Collaboration Protocol Profile and Agreement spec. v1.07.
[ebCPPA]. It provides user-friendly interfaces and editing
functions.
And KTNET eRearch team also made a CPA editor, GetMate CPA Editor.
It is not easy to make a CPA from two CPPs manually. But GetMate
CPA Editor provides user-friendly interfaces and semi-automatic
composing mechanism for making a CPA. So if you use it, you
can make a CPA easy. Now GetMate CPA Editor is also developed based
on the ebXML Collaboration Protocol Profiles and Agreements
spec. v1.07. [ebCPPA].
